From May 19th to 20th, the European circular economy community gathered at the REuse Economy Expo 2026 in Paris. For the GoodsTag team, it was two incredible days filled with inspiring encounters, in-depth knowledge exchange, and groundbreaking discussions about Europe’s regulatory future. A special shoutout goes to the CIRPASS-2 initiative for creating an outstanding platform with their "DPP Village," which fostered direct and highly valuable dialogue around the Digital Product Passport (DPP).
A Market in Transition: From Compliance Burden to Strategic Opportunity 🌍
The conversations at our booth made one thing abundantly clear: the industry is at a turning point. We engaged with representatives from a surprisingly diverse range of sectors—from the defense industry to textiles, packaging specialists, and global consultancies.
While some industry pioneers have been shaping traceability solutions for years, others are just beginning their regulatory preparation. However, the overarching mindset is shifting. The Digital Product Passport is no longer viewed merely as a strict compliance hurdle driven by the ESPR (Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation) or the PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation). Instead, brands are increasingly recognizing it as a strategic opportunity to establish circular business models, build supply chain resilience, and create tangible, internal value as well as unprecedented consumer engagement.
Spotlight on a Strong Partnership: Introducing "Redipack" 🤝
An absolute highlight of our expo presence was our close collaboration with our partner Integritag (an All4Labels company). We were thrilled to have our booth actively supported by Alexander Besler, Sales Director at Integritag. This synergy of personnel and technology drew significant attention from industry professionals.
Together, we officially showcased our co-innovation: Redipack. This joint solution by Schöller Allibert impressively demonstrates how the physical packaging world and digital ID infrastructure can seamlessly merge to meet upcoming EU mandates:
- Smart Hardware Meets Software: Redipack combines Integritag's profound expertise in intelligent labeling and packaging with GoodsTag's robust, API-first Track & Trace platform. 📦
- Ready for DPP & PPWR: Redipack offers companies a turnkey solution to implement strict EU transparency and traceability requirements directly on the packaging—making it secure, scalable, and future-proof. 🔗'
Taking the Stage: The GoodsTag Solution in Action 🎤
A standout moment for us was the presentation by Laurent Ovaert. He took the stage to dive deep into the core of the GoodsTag platform, explaining our unique architecture and the distinct advantages it offers. He demonstrated exactly how our tailored solutions empower brands to manage global product data efficiently, turning complex compliance requirements into streamlined, scalable processes.
Ready for the Circular Future 🚀
The REuse Economy Expo confirmed once again that GoodsTag, with its comprehensive software infrastructure and global standards compliance (such as GS1 Digital Link), is perfectly positioned to guide brands on their path to full transparency. We empower companies to navigate the complexities of the Green Deal effortlessly.
We want to thank all the visitors, partners, and our entire team for making this event such a success.
But the conversation doesn’t stop here. Make sure to stay tuned: over the coming weeks, we will be dropping highly interesting interviews, exclusive video footage, and deep-dive insights directly from the expo in Paris. 🎥👀
The transformation of product identity has only just begun.
