Henkel Adhesive Technologies, the global market leader in adhesives, extends its smart packaging initiatives with an NFC pilot project for its #SimplySmarter product line. The project is built on GoodsTag’s Smart Product Services Platform.
‘Indola,’ Henkel’s professional hair care brand, has added NFC tags to three of its styling brands. With these tags, the brand hopes to connect with Indola hair stylists and inspire their daily work with new ideas.
When a professional hairstylist touches one of the Indola #SimplySmarter products with an NFC- enabled smartphone, the stylist is forwarded directly to a dedicated landing page, which shows product information, video tutorials, testimonials, and a curated, up to date, Instagram wall.
Smart Packaging is one of the strategic innovations of Henkel Adhesive Technologies. For the launch of the Indola hair care line, Henkel has collaborated with All4Labels, the world’s leading label maker, and GoodsTag, an enterprise solution for Smart Product Services, to encode and digitally connect NFC tags to its product lines.
